Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to the most common questions about Uptimelia.
Uptimelia sends HTTP/HTTPS requests to your websites every 5 minutes from multiple locations. If your site doesn't respond or returns an error, we send you an instant notification via email and push to your registered email address. We monitor response time, HTTP status codes, and overall site availability.
A status page is a dedicated webpage that displays the real-time status of your services and websites. It's perfect for keeping your users informed during incidents, scheduled maintenance, or technical issues. You can create public status pages (accessible by anyone) or private ones (password-protected) for different audiences.
We perform automated checks from globally distributed servers. Each check includes: connectivity verification, response time, HTTP status code, and optionally specific page content. Checks run continuously 24/7, ensuring we detect any issues as soon as they occur.
You'll receive automatic email and push notifications to your registered email address when we detect a site is down or when it recovers. Currently, notifications are sent automatically both when an issue occurs and when it's resolved, without additional customization options.
The free plan includes up to 5 uptime monitors, 5 status pages, checks every 5 minutes, email and push notifications, and email support. It's perfect for personal projects and small businesses. Paid plans (coming soon) will include more monitors, more frequent checks, and advanced features.
